Thanks to everyone in Strokestown who helped make the 2018 Poetry festival such a success. It was a great example of a community in action. Thanks to those who:
- displayed poems in windows/railings
- cordoned off streets
- gave their time
- picked up litter
- parked their cars elsewhere
- connected up electricity
- dressed windows
- planted flowers
- erected the May pole
- held workshops
- displayed exhibitions
- wrote poems
- joined in
- donated money/goods
- hosted guests
- provided meals
- showed films
- etc. etc. etc.
