JAMES HARPUR

James Harpur lives in West Cork. He is the recipient of the Michael Hartnett Award, an Eric Gregory Award, and he’s been shortlisted for the Irish Times Award. He broadcasts regularly on RTÉ and is a member of Aosdána. His forthcoming collection The White Silhouette (June) centres around a lyrical, meditative four-part poem inspired by the Book of Kells which explores the spirit of medieval Celtic art, its inner and outer landscapes, the nature of the divine and its relationship to art.
