The Shortlist for Comórtas Dhughlas de h-Íde 2017 has just been announced by the Judge, Cathal Ó Searcaigh.  The Poets are –

Celia de Fréine,  Dublin  (“Iarfhocal”);

Rody Gorman,  Isle of Skye, Scotland (“Lorg Shuibhne”);

Ceaití Ní Bheildiúin, Trá Lí, Co. Chiarraí (“D’Ionú Tagtha”);

Bríd Ní Mhóráin,  Trá Lí (“Uaisle an tSléibhe”);

Seosamh Ó Murchú, Co. Bhaile Átha Cliath (“Ruathar Anama”)

Micheál Ó Ruairc,  Baile Átha Cliath  (“Guth”).

The Winner will be announced at the 19th Strokestown International Poetry Festival which will run from the 27th to 30th April, 2017.
