Strokestown International Poetry Festival 2022

(All in a day, Saturday 30 April, mini festival)

The Strokestown International Poetry Festival (SIPF) is returning live this year to the Percy French Hotel & Strokestown Park House & Gardens, Strokestown, County Roscommon.

We will host a pared down but perfectly formed, one-day festival in our traditional May Bank Holiday weekend slot and hope to return next year with the full four-day festival in 2023.

The SIPF committee has recently appointed Joseph Woods, poet and arts director as its new festival director.

A programme to include readings, launches, poetry in the park and workshops will go live in the last week of March and please save the date, Saturday 30 April, watch the website or subscribe to our mailing list on the website.

This year’s mini festival was made viable through the continued support of Roscommon County Council Arts Office and private sponsorship.
