What Doireann Ní Ghríofa said about Strokestown

'When it comes to nurturing emerging talents and encouraging established writers, Strokestown Poetry Festival excels. Year on year, this festival provides shelter for literature, in an atmosphere full of warmth and encouragement. Both visitors and local audiences gather with writers in the extraordinary rooms of Strokestown Park House to attend readings, to chat about poetry, and to enjoy themselves. Without doubt, this is among the finest literary festivals I have attended'.
