Jane Clarke – Shortlisted for the Ondaatje prize

Congratulations to Jane Clarke, a reader at Strokestown 2016 who has been shortlisted for the £10,000 Ondaatje prize.
The Ondaatje prize shortlist spans the globe from Ireland to Sri Lanka and is awarded annually to a book of the highest literary merit that best evokes the spirit of a place.
Jane who was originally from Fuerty, Roscommon, last month won the Henessy New Irish Writing Emerging Poetry Award.
