On Saturday May 5th in the library of Strokestown Park House, the winner of Duais Cholmcille, the Strokestown International Poetry Festival Irish Language and Scots Gaelic Poetry Award, generously sponsored by Colmcille, the partnership programme between Foras na Gaeilge in Ireland and An Bord Gáidhlig in Scotland, will be announced. The overall winner of the 2013 Duais Cholmcille will receive a cheque for €2000. Second and third placed poets will be awarded €1500 and €1000 respectively. The awards will be presented by the competition judge Caoimhín Mac Giolla Léith (pictured).
