Congratulations to Jessamine O’Connor (our Roscommon Judge) who won The Poetry Day Ireland and Butlers Chocolate Poetry Competition 2017 with her poem ‘Meet me for Coffee‘.

Poetry Ireland and Butlers Chocolate Cafés invited poets to submit poems for the Poetry Day Ireland 2017 competition. The theme of the competition was open, but poems had to mention either chocolate or coffee, or give a flavour of the coffeehouse and café.

Jessamine will be reading at Strokestown on Friday 28th April at 8pm
