Strokestown Poetry Festival kicks off in just 12 weeks!

Behind the scenes, there’s lots going on in Strokestown as we prepare an exciting programme to mark our 20th anniversary. We still have to confirm some of the details, but you can be sure we’ll be bringing some headline names to the Festival, which runs over May Bank Holiday weekend, May 3rd -7th. There will be a must-see line up of international and Irish poets, with around 70 readings over the weekend. There’ll be the results of six competitions, three exhibitions, two film screenings, seven book launches, two workshops, plus street poetry and music – you won’t want to miss any of it!
